Mother's Day Box Hop

Hello from the Pride and welcome into my den today.

This month is a very special month for the Pride as we celebrate Mother's Day.

Our den mother Elsa is a sweetheart and I'd like to give her a big Happy Mother's Day hug! Love you Elsa!

So this month we've scratching around making boxes. My den was pretty messy for a while...with all the clipping, gluing and twine stringing. I kind of got caught up in the twine, pounced and bounced it around....just had a good ole time with it.

My mother has been gone for many years, so I decided not to put MOM or Mother on my box. I'm not giving it away...keeping it for me and putting it in my bathroom to hold my rings in.

I used a stack from K & Co to complete my box. Cut it out from Tags, bags and more cart from Cricut.

Added some half back pearls, wire, twine, beads, mesh and ribbons.

I think it is purrdy.

Hello Spring!!!

How is everyone?

I just wanted to do a quick post.

As some of you may know I've been out of the loop for a little bit with selling tear bears and paper piecings. Just havent' felt that well for a while...but I'm feeling lots better now.

My little business is very important to me. With staying home to raise my son, money is tight and sometimes it seems there is just not enough to go around.

Trying my hardest to get and keep things listed. It would be a big help if you passed my store around or ebay auctions to help promote me a little. I hate to even ask, but I am desperate to earn a little income right now. Really do not want to go back to work, pay for day care and be away from my family. My family is so important to me.

Easter Basket Blog Hop with JustaFew Friends!

Easter Basket Blog Hop

Hello and thanks for pouncing into JustaFew Friends Easter Basket blog hop. We are so excited to show you our purrty creations.

I love Easter so much. In our family we try to get across the real reason for Easter....the burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 

As a christian it is so important to understand that meaning and to thank Jesus for all HE has done for us. He gave HIS life that we may have eternal life. What a wonderful gift!

I just love our den momma Elsa. She always challenges us to use our noggins. This month we were to create something with the image of a basket. It could be a card, layout, mini album, anything that we wanted to make in our den's!!

So I played and pounced with some ribbon, paper and some cardstock stickers.

Are you ready to see what I made? Ok....here it is......

 I made a cute little 3 x 3 mini accordian album.

      I also made a cute little card with an Easter tear bear bunny on it. Pattern by Precious Piecings.

Happy Valentine Day Baggie Hop

Happy Valentine's Day from the Pride!

Happy Valentines to all and thanks for visiting our February Hop! Just a Few Friends has been steadily working on creating and altering gift bags! We were challenged to create our project using the following colors...RED, PINK, BROWN, BLACK...we could use them all, only one or a combination of two, three...well you get the point.

This is a special Hop because a new Cub has joined the PRIDE!! This is her first hop and would love it if you all would show her some luv, approach her den with TLC and leave her some compliments.

Now lets pounce onto my project this is what I made....

Just a plain brown lunch sack...we have lots of those around here for lunches. lol

I used some pretty Valentine's paper that I got from Walmart and the die cuts came from there too!

The digi was a freebie from Saturated Canary and I think it is just too cute :)

Cake pops can be put in the baggie for a real Valentine's treat. Yummo!!

To complete my bag I just had to use some Trendy Twine!

What better way to start the year than with some cute

calendars for you to pencil in all your project due dates for

the year! The cubs have been shredding paper, gnawing

on ribbon and playing with flowers trying to get our 2013

I always buy a calendar to put on my fridge. Seems like I'm 
always on the phone and needing to look at a date. So I was 
so glad to be asked to make a calendar with my den siblings.

I used a free digi stamp from Sherri Baldi...I think she is just 

so cute and reminded me of ME. LOL.
