"Love" Challenge

As I mentioned before I love Valentine's day! My previous post was about my design teams (MLDT) challenge using Red, White and Black. I had to really step out of my box for this challenge. I primarily make tear bears and nothing more. So for this challenge I made a title paper piecing.
I used a set of paper that I bought at Michael's craft store one year. It had all the colors that I needed in it. I layered black and red cardstock, sewed the matting and added a tear bear and some homemade embellishments to it. I think it turned out really sweet! I have it listed for only $6.99. Come on over to ebay and check my items out. I hope to see you there and thanks for stopping by and visiting with me today.

My Design Team is having a RED, Black and White Challenge!!

Hello! I hope everyone is doing well in bloggyland this week. I'm co-leader of the Making Lemonade Design Team on ebay and we are having a challenge this week in honor of Valentine's Day. The only catch is that we used the colors red, black and white as our theme colors. I'm loving all the great items the girls are creating. Please come on over to ebay and check us out, just type in MLDT to see all of our talented artist listings.

I love You Tear Bear

I love Valentine's day. One of the reasons I love it so much is because my husband asked me to marry him on that date in 1989. It will always be a very special date to me. Can't believe it's been almost 21 yrs since he asked me to marry him. I was barely 18 yrs old. Time sure does fly. Treasure each moment like it is the last, tomorrow is never promised.

I'm into making my Valentine Tear Bears.  Remember each bear is always made with extra thick mulberry paper and penned and chalked for added detail. It takes several hours to get them just the way that I want them.

Take a look and go over to ebay and bid on this little sweetie. She'll be beautiful on those Love scrapbook pages or Valentine Day cards. Use your imagination as to where you will use her.

Thanks for stopping by today. I really look forward to our visits.

2010- New Tear Bear Birdies

Hello! I hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas Holiday. I know I sure did. There was lots of activities and little time to be creative. Sorry, for not posting sooner...end of the year kind of does that to you.

I've created 2 new tear birdies. If you love lavender...these would suit you just fine. I thought I would try something new this year and I've always been curious as to how to make these lil' cuties. So, I sat down and figured out. Now I'm addicted to making them. LOL. Can't help it.

I'm glad that you stopped by to visit, please come back often as you know I love visitors.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Boy, is it ever getting close to Christmas now. Our tree is up and our stockings are hung on the mantel with care and snowmen abound everywhere! It's been a long time since my last post and I am sooooooo sorry. Life just seems to happen and I get caught up in it most of the time.

I've created a cute set of peek a boo bears with snowflakes. I hope you will go on over to ebay and check them out a little closer. I really love Christmas time but have been so unmotivated to be creative right now. I finally set down yesterday and made this little set. I hope I get my mojo back soon.

I hope each and every one of you have a very Merry Christmas! Christmas is just not another "holiday".....it is to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Last of the pumpkin bears....

Hmmmm.... let's see...it's been a long time since I last posted. It just gets so busy here in SW Ohio with the beautiful autumn days and all the fun things you can do. Who really wants to sit down at a craft desk and make a bear or work on scrapbooking stuff? Well...not I...obviously!

I've been in a little funk lately. Nothing is moving on ebay and I haven't wanted to waste my precious time creating a bear to sell and then not have it sell. It's kinda heartbreaking, ya know?

Any who, I completed 2 tear bears yesterday with pumpkins. These are my last 2 for the season....I think. Let me know what you think. I tried a little something different with the noses and eyes. I love the big noses and the eyes are sort of plain, no color or anything like that. Pretty plain pumpkin bears. Don't try to say that too fast...it could be a tongue twister.

Have a wonderful Halloween and thanks for stopping in and seeing me today. I love visitors. Leave a comment for me when you stop by, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

October 2009

October,2009

Wow, where is the year going? I'm so surprised to find myself at the beginning of October and looking around to see where summer went! It's amazing how the season's turn and before you know it out goes the summer clothes and in comes the winter clothes. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love the changing colors of the leaves, the smell of the crisp autumn air and the milder temps.

I've been busy in my little paper crafting studio. MLDT-Making Lemonade Design Team is in full force with our October Challenge...FALL. Come on over to Ebay and check us out. Just type in MLDT to see all the wonderful paper artists that are there. They are spectacular!! Anyways...I have several new pieces listed myself. I plan on listing more next week so please be on the lookout. If you need tear bears for your pumpkin pages...I have them....if you need tear bears for your costume pages...I will have them. I love making tear bears and think you will love your purchase when you buy from me.

Well, I better close for now. Time to work while the house is quiet and my husband is keeping our son occupied. Thanks for visiting, as always I've enjoyed it. Take a look at my new bears. Post a comment if you would like, share my blog please. I'd love to have more followers than what I have. Have a wonderful week!

Bye.
