It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Boy, is it ever getting close to Christmas now. Our tree is up and our stockings are hung on the mantel with care and snowmen abound everywhere! It's been a long time since my last post and I am sooooooo sorry. Life just seems to happen and I get caught up in it most of the time.

I've created a cute set of peek a boo bears with snowflakes. I hope you will go on over to ebay and check them out a little closer. I really love Christmas time but have been so unmotivated to be creative right now. I finally set down yesterday and made this little set. I hope I get my mojo back soon.

I hope each and every one of you have a very Merry Christmas! Christmas is just not another "holiday".....it is to celebrate the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Last of the pumpkin bears....

Hmmmm.... let's see...it's been a long time since I last posted. It just gets so busy here in SW Ohio with the beautiful autumn days and all the fun things you can do. Who really wants to sit down at a craft desk and make a bear or work on scrapbooking stuff? Well...not I...obviously!

I've been in a little funk lately. Nothing is moving on ebay and I haven't wanted to waste my precious time creating a bear to sell and then not have it sell. It's kinda heartbreaking, ya know?

Any who, I completed 2 tear bears yesterday with pumpkins. These are my last 2 for the season....I think. Let me know what you think. I tried a little something different with the noses and eyes. I love the big noses and the eyes are sort of plain, no color or anything like that. Pretty plain pumpkin bears. Don't try to say that too fast...it could be a tongue twister.

Have a wonderful Halloween and thanks for stopping in and seeing me today. I love visitors. Leave a comment for me when you stop by, I'd love to hear what you have to say.

October 2009

October,2009

Wow, where is the year going? I'm so surprised to find myself at the beginning of October and looking around to see where summer went! It's amazing how the season's turn and before you know it out goes the summer clothes and in comes the winter clothes. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love the changing colors of the leaves, the smell of the crisp autumn air and the milder temps.

I've been busy in my little paper crafting studio. MLDT-Making Lemonade Design Team is in full force with our October Challenge...FALL. Come on over to Ebay and check us out. Just type in MLDT to see all the wonderful paper artists that are there. They are spectacular!! Anyways...I have several new pieces listed myself. I plan on listing more next week so please be on the lookout. If you need tear bears for your pumpkin pages...I have them....if you need tear bears for your costume pages...I will have them. I love making tear bears and think you will love your purchase when you buy from me.

Well, I better close for now. Time to work while the house is quiet and my husband is keeping our son occupied. Thanks for visiting, as always I've enjoyed it. Take a look at my new bears. Post a comment if you would like, share my blog please. I'd love to have more followers than what I have. Have a wonderful week!

Bye.

Boo!

Hello, Halloween if approaching fast! I love this time of year so much. My little boy already has his costume, he's going to be Buzz Light Year. He said Daddy was going to be Woody and I could be the Dinosaur. I guess those are the 3 characters he likes best from Toy Story 2. Thanks to his grandma Melissa for getting him such a nice costume this year.
Halloween always inspires me to create new bears. I have some really neat die cuts from K&Co that I purchased last year. I decided to dissect some of them and add bear heads. I think they've turned out really cute. A set of 2 ghost buddies. Could be either girls or boys or a combination of both. I will add bows if you want them to be girls. Doesn't every little child like to play with a sheet and try to scare you? I know mine does. So, if they don't sell...I'll use them myself. LOL.
Please come and check them out on ebay. I'd love for you to share my blog with your friends. I know it is kind of plain, but I'm working on it. Thanks for stopping in today. I've enjoyed our visit. Come back soon!

Halloween Bears, Anyone?

Gosh, Can you believe that Halloween will be next month and that Fall starts here in a couple of weeks? Fall is probably my favorite time of the year, I just love the changing of all the colors and stuff. I've been seeing a lot of Halloween decorations so that inspired me to create a Witch tear bear for those scary scrapbook pages.
This bear looks kind of vintage to me. I used bits and pieces of die cut card stock to create this little gal. I love how it all came together though. Would you believe that her cape is actually a Dracula cape, I cut his head off. LOL. The broom is too cute and what Witch wouldn't be complete without her black cat. She is all ready for trick or treating!! Go bid on her now!!
Thanks for stopping in and visiting today.

Vacation Time

Good Morning! It's been several weeks since I have posted and I am sooooo sorry for that. I've just been super busy. My little boy is no longer in daycare and trying to entertain him and keep him busy all day is killing me. This week we have been on vacation and it has been so relaxing. Steven went to Grandma's for the whole week and got back yesterday morning. Today we are just going to go to a flea market and have some fun.

I promise to post some new bears next week. I even have a layout in the works. Have a wonderful, safe Labor day weekend.

Thanks for stopping in and visiting today!

A Few New Bears for You!

I've been a little busy this week making some peek a boo bears. With the end of summer right around the corner I wanted to use some super fun colors and I think I achieved that goal. The 3 full size bears I've entitled "Sherbert" Bears because they remind me of...you guessed it...sherbert...Orange, Lime and Blue Raspberry. I followed up with 3 peek a boo bears that match them..."Yummy" Bears. I couldn't resist a little red "Pouty" bear....so cute and we all have or had children that get those little mad or pouty faces. Rounding it all up are my "Wine" bears...the colors just remind me of white and purple grapes. YUMMY!! Please feel free to share my sight with your friends. I'd love to have more visitors come around and possibly buy from me.
Remember....I also take custom orders.

Check me out on ETSY also.

Well, I think that is about it for today...I'm glad you stopped in to visit me. Thanks for taking the time to do that today.

CHEESE!

OK, so I got in my head that I wanted to try a little mouse tear bear. When I get something in my head, I just have to go with it. I think she turned out darling. She'd look adorable on those scrap book pages with a child saying,"CHEESE"!
Go on over and take a look at her on ebay. She has a starting bid of $4.99. I've lowered my prices for the end of summer to give you a break. I know wallets are tight right now with back to school right around the corner. Never seems to be enough money here, either.
My husband and I will be celebrating our 20th anniversary on August 26 and I like to be able to surprise him with a couple of days away from home. Won't you help me by bidding on my tear bears?
Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you've enjoyed your visit. Just click on ebay to take you to the mouse auction.
Have a great day!

Zoo Favorites

Thanks for stopping by today. I thought I would create a couple of zoo bears for you to take a look at. I think they turned out adorable. When I create my bears I do not use any patterns, they all come from the top of my little head. I love thinking up new designs to try. The koala was inspired by our Vacation Bible School a couple of weeks ago called Boomerang Express....you got it...it was based on Australia. Koala bears are just the sweetest little bears. I love panda bears...so I had to do one to go along with the koala. Just click on Koala or Panda and you will be taken to my ebay auctions.

I hope you enjoy your visit today. Keep checking back because you never know what you might find.
Bye.

Oh, lolli, lolli, lollipop!

I've just listed a trio of lollipop tear bears on ebay. I hope you will go on over and check them out or just click on lollipop to be taken there.
With the end of summer fast approaching I thought I'd do this cute tear bear trio. The lollipops are handmade and handcrafted by me. I used foam paint to create them. So very realistic looking. I can just see this cute trio on your county fair scrap book pages or maybe a circus or carnival page. What kid doesn't love those big round circle lollipops? My nieces absolutely love them and all the flavors they can get them in. YUMMY! Thanks for stopping and visiting with me today. I hope you enjoy your visit. Please remember that I do have an etsy store now. Just click on ETSY and it will take you there. No more bidding, pay the price given and check out. Your order will be sent out the next day. Thanks and have a GREAT day!! ~Margaret~

Boutique Bear

Boutique Tear Bear
Gosh, it has been a while since I posted anything. Summer has been so busy. My MIL has been in the hospital and we've ran up there so many nights, then we had a week of VBS at church and this week we've had some evangelism training at church. Much to our surprise we had already taken this training. On a good note though, we finally got legal custody of the little boy that we have. We are so blessed, God answers prayers, just in His own timing. LOL.
Ok, so this week I'm getting back into making tear bears. I made a boutique bear and she is simply sassy! All dressed in floral and green with butterfly accents. So cute! I hope you will go on over and take a look at her. She'd be beautiful adorning those summer scrap book pages or homemade cards!
I'm glad you could stop in today and share my life with me. I adore my visitors and can't wait for you to drop in again. Until next time.

Tropical Drink Tear Bear!

I just love the colors in this little cutie! It is so bright and tropical looking. She would go wonderful on a handmade card or a cruise scrap book layout. So many fun things you could do with her. Let your imagination run wild.

Bear is made from extra thick, acid/lignin free mulberry paper. I take a lot of time creating my bears. Each bear has her own personality and theme. I make one of a kind bears. My bears are not duplicated unless I have extra materials or someone requests one just like it. There will be differences since no two bears are ever a like. I do not use patterns, strictly my imagination.

Go on over to ebay and check my little cuties out. If you are in a tropical drink mood, this one's for you.

Thanks for visiting and I look forward to seeing you again.

4th of July Tear Bear Set

This is my first set of 3 bears that I have ever done and listed as one item. I think they turned out darling and will look wonderful on all the patriotic or 4th of July scrap book pages. My hubby said he thought that the white tear bear was his favorite out of the three of them. I like them all and can't choose a favorite. I guess that's what happens when you are the designer.
I can't believe that it is almost July. Where is the summer going? I love the summer months, just so its not too muggy...I can stand the heat...but the mugginess kills me. I hope that you have a safe 4th of July weekend. We may be going out of town, but nothing is set in stone yet. I'd love to get away, but the funds might not be there. Go on over to ebay and help a girl make a lil' spending money.. LOL. You all are what I do this for!!! I love making my tear bears and sharing them with you.
Have a safe week and keep watching...I'll be posting again soon. Thanks for visiting, I love my visitors. You all are so AWESOME!!
Until next time.

Purple Bearie Tear Bear 2 piece Set!

I love my job of making tear bears. I love the fact that I can sit down and create anything that I think about, whether it is a bear in the clouds or a bear wearing a skirt. If I can imagine it, I can create it! This little gal is the 2nd in my Bearie Bears series. I think she is simply darling. She has a lot of personality and if full of laughter. Holding a nest full of blue eggs, she is setting on her tree stump giggling at what she has found. It's her very own little treasure. Can't you just see her little wings twittering in the breeze and the little daisies on the tree stump swaying back and forth. I hope you will go on over to ebay and bid on her. I'm starting her off at just $9.99. There are two pieces in this set, the bear and the tree stump. Everything was hand done by me. Go on over to ebay and type in kms4life1989 and pull up all my auctions. Maybe there is something there that you just can't live without.

Daisy Tear Bear

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=280359764430

Boy, have I got a real cutie for you to look at today. It took some time to make this one, because she has so much detail. This little bear is so full of love that you just want to squeeze her. I've had a creative block for a little while and I bought a pack of stickers that had bears on them and got inspired again and came up with this little cutie.
I handmade the basket with all the colorful daisies in it. The daisies were hand punched and then I added rhinestones to the ones on top. It turned out adorable. Daisy bear also has a crown of daisies around her little head.
I hope you like her and go on over to ebay and bid on her. You won't be disappointed in her. I've started a new series called "Bearie Bears". They are all going to be unique like Daisy bear and will be different colors. Next bear color is purple...keep watching for it to be posted.
I'm glad you stopped in for a while. It is always good to see friends and you know how I like visitors.

I love the county fair and looking at all the animals and riding the rides and eating cotton candy. Oh so YUMMY!!! This little tear bear is just for such occassions. She is holding her pink cotton candy in one hand and her sundae ice cream in the other hand. She just doesn't know which one to eat first, they both look so yummy! New Series....Buddy Tear Bears!

Well, my mind is always turning up something new with my tear bears. I've started a new series entitled "Buddy Bears". I thought it would be neat to have a full size tear bear with a peek a boo tear bear and call them buddy bears. I love the little peek a boo bears, I think they add a little something to a photo mat or a title. I hope you like them. Tear bears are fun to make and they make me happy! Happiness is a good thing. Sunshine!!!

Sunshine! Mmmmmmm! With Memorial Day being the official start of summer I decided to add a little sunshine to my tear bear collection. Soooooo, I made a pretty yellow tear bear with a little chipboard sign. Yellow is such a pretty, summery color. Perfect for all those hazy, lazy days that we like so well. I hope you like her. She was fun to make. She brightened my day and I hope she brightens yours. Thanks for stopping by. Visitors are always welcome. Come again soon!

Can you stand another Strawberry bear?

I created another strawberry tear bear. Have you noticed a pattern with me? I have too! When I make a bear and I like it, I usually do something else with the same theme. Can't help myself really. I have all these left over embellishments, so why let them go to waste. I will certainly be making myself a Strawberry tear bear for my albums also. Last night we had strawberry shortcake with whipped cream. The cakes were chocolate, so it was extra yummy!!! I love strawberries. Thanks for stopping in and seeing me today. I hope you have enjoyed your visit. Come back, you are always welcome here.

Strawberry Patch Tear Bear!

Oh, the joys of the beginning of summer! Strawberry pickin' time will be upon us in less than a month. When I was a little girl my grandma used to take me strawberry picking. We'd go out to this big field, with our baskets in hand and bend over and pick strawberries. I think I probably ate more than I actually got into the basket. I couldn't help myself, the sweet juicy strawberry juice exploding in my mouth. Mmmmmmm, so good! So with all that in mind, I created an adorable Strawberry patch tear bear. She is darling and would look amazing on any scrapbook page of strawberry picking time! Thanks for stopping in today. I hope you have enjoyed your visit. Stop in again, you're welcome back anytime.
God Bless!

Monarch Butterfly

Don't you just love the start of summer when the butterflies start fluttering and the lightning bugs start lighting? I certainly do. I love to sit out on the swing in the evening and watch those little lightning bugs. I can remember as a kid getting a canning jar and poking holes in the lid and catching my little lights and putting them in there. I was so amazed at the yellow bugs. I caught butterflys that way to. Always the pretty orange and black ones that I would later find out were called Monarchs. You don't see many of them around anymore, but when I do I get nostalgic of my childhood.
I created this little beauty yesterday. I guess I'm just a buggy kind of girl. I've never been afraid of bugs at all. Never ran away from spiders and actually used to catch daddy long legs. I was a prissy little tom girl, LOL! I hope you like her. She was so much fun to make. I have a green and white one that I will be sharing soon. Thanks for stopping in awhile. I'm always glad to have visitors. Makes me feel special. I hope today I've brought back some childhood memories for you. Blessings to each of you!

Toddler ~Boy~ Tear Bear

I guess when I do things, I do them is sets or series. Not sure why, just how I'm wired I guess. A few days ago I made a toddler girl bear, so today I made the toddler boy bear. Now, I usually do not do boy bears. I have 3 nieces, so I'm more geared towards them. Although I do have a little boy....they just aren't as cute as the girls. There is so much you can do with girl bears...add hair ribbons, give them eyeshadow, dress them up in flower dresses and purses. Little boy bears are limited to boy caps and boy toys. Kind of boring, huh? All in all I think my toddler boy bear turned out pretty good. He's all boy, rough and tough! I hope you've enjoyed your visit. Stop back in and stay awhile. I'm always glad to have visitors.

Baby Girl Toddler Tear Bear!

I'm done with the Bug bears for now. I had an absolute blast making them. Today I made a very cute toddler bear. She is white with lots of pink accents. I love the way the binky turned out and her little diaper is adorable. I just had to share her with you all. Maybe I should do a line of toddler bears? Or maybe not! I know I would like to make a little boy toddler bear and list him also. Maybe I will work on that after my custom order is done tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by and looking around. I hope you made yourself at home. I always like visitors so come and stop back in. ~ Bye~

I have to say that I enjoy making these little bug tear bears. There is just something about the thought of creating something cute in the image of a bug. This particular bear is a butterfly bear. Bug Bears!

It's so funny as to what kind of creations I can come up with next. I went to a scrap mania with my friend Emily a week ago and she was talking about lady bugs and bought some paper to complete a layout of her little lady bug at Halloween time. It never dawned on me at that time to try my hand at a lady bug bear! So...I was in at Michael's the other day, buying a few things and I came across these really cute lady bug stickers and I thought...'WOW, wouldn't that look cute on a lady bug tear bear!'. Yesterday I sat down and made this little cutie! I think she turned out darling. I might even try my hand at a Bug Bear Collection. Stay tuned...you never know what is next!

Hello everyone! I decided I needed to update my blog with my design teams news. MLDT is having a GREEN challenge this week. We've been making things out of toilet paper rolls, recycled papers, leftover items from other scrap booking projects, etc.,

I wanted to share my 1 page 12 x 12 layout with you. I'm not a layout maker by any means but I think this turned out well. I used the GREEN Stack from DCWV for my green project because it is made from 70% recycled paper. I'm in love with all of the DCWV paper stacks, they are awesome.

"SWEET" Bears

I had to share my latest creations! I've been working with the "Sweet" pack from DCWV. That paper pack is AWESOME! I'm in a swap with group that I'm in and I had to make tear bears using this paper pack...I made peek a boos...sorry ladies if you see these bears, they are for ebay. The peek a boos are really cute though.

Granted I didn't use much of the SWEET pack but the tops of the bears dress are made from it. I love how they turned out. The bears have been layered twice with mulberry paper so they are extra sturdy. Multiple layers of silk flowers have also been used. I'm starting them off at a mere $5.99 with FREE SHIPPING! So hop on over to ebay later on today and bid on them. My ebay id is kms4life1989 or type in MLDT and find them there. Thanks for looking at my blog today!!
