Decorative Ornament Hop with Just A Few Friends

"Hi and welcome to my den, today along with the rest of the PRIDE of Just a Few Friends,  I have created a Christmas Ornament...  That means that as you hop along with us you will be introduced to 13 different styles! 13 different inspirations to create something beautiful to enjoy your Christmas...If you landed here by chance, visit Elsa's blog so you can hop along from the beginning and not miss a thing, if you've been hopping along then go on to the next den and see what BON created!!

Here's the lineup, make sure to visit each one:

I was really excited to learn that we were going to decorate an ornament for Christmas. Christmas is such a special time of year for us here at home. We usually buy one new Christmas ornament for our tree each year. I got the privilege of making it this year!!

Red birds (cardinals) have to be one of my favorite birds. We have one that comes and visits out in our back yard every so often and I am just amazed at their beauty. So...I wanted something glitzy! When I saw the freebie cutting file from Treasure Box Designs....I knew that little bird and bells is what I was going to use!

Are you ready to see my ornament? OK, here it is! Forgive the lighting...it was raining and dark out today and I could not get a good shot to save my life.

The fun part about this ornament...I didn't make a MESS! The adhesive got sprayed in the top of the ornament and then I dumped glitter into the opening and swirled it around and then poured the leftover back in the container. How easy is that? Pretty easy!!!

Thanks for dropping in today. Many blessings to each of you and your families this CHRISTMAS season.

Picking Pumpkins!

Hi. Time for my DT post for Trendy Twine using the beautiful Orange Truffle Twine.
Make sure you purchase a spool for yourself HERE, it's on sale this month. You'll love the orange and dreamy brown combination.

For my post I decided to do a pumpkin theme for Thanksgiving. Goodness, I could pick pumpkins all Fall and never get bored with them. They come in so many fun sizes and shapes.

The little bear is a pattern from Scrappy Dew Creations. I made a little bow to put in her hair. Then I made her middle out of the Orange Truffle and placed a pumpkin for her to hold with a little more orange truffle.

Then I took the orange truffle and wound it around the letters F, L and L. It's hard winding letters with twine!

Here's a little close up:

Make sure you stop by the blog this month and check out all of the other posts .
Have some fun and join the challenge also...you could win some of the dreamy orange truffle twine.

Have a great Thanksgiving!!!
Blessings

What am I thankful for?

Wow! Can you believe it is November already?
Me either!!

This month at Trendy Twine our challenge was to create something that had brown, use stitching and the beautiful Orange truffle twine with a Thanksgiving theme.

I didn't have to think very hard about what I am thankful for. First thing that came to mind was my family.
I am very thankful for my family.

So I made this card with orange truffle trendy twine. Love the little turkey that is from Paper Piecing by Nikki, papers are from Authentique (which I won).

I hope you will stop over and check out the CHALLENGE.
Orange Truffle is also on sale this month for $7.95.
Please check out the other DT members creations, everyone is so talented! We LOVE our Trendy Twine.

Costume Tear Bears

Good evening!
It's unusual that I would do an evening post, but I just had to share some of my tear bears that I have recently made and listed on ebay.
Patterns are from ScrappyDew Creations and used with permission.

First one I'd like to share is this cute monkey.
I've used felt, cardstock, mulberry paper to make this cutie.

Ribbon is not attached so you can place it where you want it.
Click HERE to bid on it.

Next is my tear bear duck. I love how she turned out.Yellow and orange with some glossy accents added to make her legs and beak stand out.

Click HERE to come and bid on her! She is absolutely darling.

I promise, just one more this evening and then I am closing.
I made an adorable tear bear in a cat's costume.

Meow, she is too ghoulish!!!
Click HERE to bid on her :)

Thanks for dropping in tonight.
I hope to see you again soon.

Some Slider FUN with the Den

It's Slider Time!!!

Hello all my friends! Glad you came out to visit my den today.
I've been super busy trying something new.
Our Alpha...the wonderful Elsa gave us a challenge this month.
Let me tell you, I wasn't none to happy about it either!
I am not a card maker, never have been...maybe will be in the future after this challenge?
She challenged us to make a slider card with a Halloween or Fall theme.
I've sat and thought about this and waited last minute to make it.
I went with a Halloween birthday theme since my niece Courtney's 15th birthday is today!! Yay!! Happy Birthday Courtney Lou...I LOVE YOU!!!

So onto the Halloween Blog Hop Challenge.
Elsa and the other 2 Alphas will pick one lucky cub's project and the best in show and we will win some goodies! So hop along to all the dens and see which cubs participated in creating the "slider card". Go back to Elsa's blog and tell her which card is your favorite. Maybe if you tell her mine is your favorite it will convince her to pick me as the best in show (maybe?).
I hope we inspire you with our creativity and in turn you go and challenge yourself to make a slider card!!
Here's my project:

Now wasn't that fun?
Here's the lineup:
Ps. Eyeball Machine is a pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven and used with permission.

Who will be the next Master Crafter?

Who will be the next Master Crafter?

Good morning all my pretties! Today I will be linking up my master crafter project. Just want to say a big thank you to Sarah over at Pink Cricut for sponsoring this awesome challenge. I am so excited for you to see what I came up with using the materials below.

I couldn't decide what to make for this. Usually things come to me when I sleep. Can you actually believe I had a dream on what I wanted to do? Yep, this idea came from my imaginative dream land.

Since Halloween is right around the corner I must have had pumpkins and witches on my brain. LOL :) I hope you will come out and vote for me, but if I'm not your favorite..please vote for who is. This was a lot of fun and I know everyone did their best.

Ok, so .....drum roll please......here is my project:

I hope you will come and vote for me. I would really love to win Master Crafter. I've used all of the items listed below that I got in my master crafters box. Plus I used the wonderful Trendy Twine in Black Licorice and Orange Licorice.

Come vote for me HERE!! I am #50 on the list. Hurry go Vote for me!!!

Too cute to SPOOK!

Can you believe that it is October 2nd already?
Me either!
I love the fall months so much. Lesley over at Trendy Twine gave us a challenge this month to make a treat bag using Orange Licorice.
Orange Licorice is such a fangtastic twine to work with. The orange and black are so vibrant and yummy.
Make sure you pick up a batch to go with all of your Halloween creations.
So, here is my treat bag:
You just can't go wrong with a colored lunch bag, halloween paper, Orange Licorice twine and a ScrappyDew pattern of a witch flying on  a broom. I also used some orange and green squares, cut out some black stars and used stickers and cutouts on them.
I believe we will be sending my son's teacher a halloween treat in this goody bag.
Stop by the Trendy Twine Blog and check out all of the DT members treat packages. Be inspired!
Remember to participate in the Challenge this month.
Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings.

Cake Time with Trendy Twine

Cake Time with Trendy Twine
Hi Everyone!
So glad you could drop in and check out my DT post for Trendy Twine.
I'm always so excited to work with Trendy Twine, it's the best twine out there! Make sure you check out the sale on the Chocolate Sprinkles that I used in my layouts.
Don't forget about the CHALLENGE, it's an awesome way to win some yummilicious twine of your own!

I have a neighbor that just recently started decorating cakes. She has had no training, this is all self taught. I wanted to do something nice for her, so I decided to make her a paper bag album to put her pics in.

Here are the pages that I used my Chocolate Sprinkles on and I think they turned out heavenly:

Doesn't hurt that the cakes are beautiful either!
Album is approx.,: 6 x 6 and is made from paper lunch bags. I used DCWV's the SWEET STACK (one of my faves).
Hope you will come back and see me soon.
Thanks so much for dropping in.

Strut your Style Blog Hop with JustAFewFriends

Strut your Style Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to our "Strut your Style" blog hop today.
Please excuse how messy our dens look but we have been super busy creating in order to inspire you. Encourage you to stop hoarding all those awesome supplies. Cut them up, glue them together and make projects. Projects that will make you smile and feel all warm and cozy inside.

So here is the first glimpse of my Purrrrfffeeectttt lil paper bag album:

I have a neighbor that is blessed with a cake decorating skill. I wanted to make her something to showcase her beautiful cakes in. Paper bag albums are pretty durable and fun to make.
It took six lunch bags to make this one in my den this week. I had fun cutting and pasting and purring right along.

Of course I used my favorite paper stack DCWV's The Sweet Stack.
Lots of ribbon and Trendy Twine completes my Purrfect lil album.
Thanks for stopping by today and make sure to visit the other dens along the way.
Pounce or prowl on over to Bon's, she is next on the list!
In case you get lost....here is the complete lineup:
