Challenge at LSHD this week!

Hello friends and happy Monday!
My design team Little Scraps of Heaven Designs...really I'm just a design team member, lol...have got a great challenge going on this week. Best part of it, if you participate and are picked as the winner...YOU get $50 in LSHD files!!!! That is a lot of files!
Make sure you head on over to LSHD's Blog  and see what you have to do to be entered.
I wanted to share a closer look at my mini album that I made this week for the challenge.
First, I used the free Valentine cupcake from a couple of weeks ago and I used the little mouse from Autumn Blessings. I already had them cut out before I saw the brand new file My SqueakHeart.
Here's a closeup of my album..I hope you enjoy it...because I had a blast making it. Not sure if I can part with this one or not.

Don't you just love all that gorgeous ribbon? I am certainly a ribbonholic!
Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with this week.
Thanks for dropping.

Our Happy Crew!

Hello friends!!
Today I wanted to share a paper piecing set that I completed with LSHD files. Who doesn't love McDonald's? It was always a special treat for us girls when we were growing up. Now a days, kids eat at M's everyday.
Do you remember Grimace and Hamburglar? They were two of my faves. My little boy had no clue as to who they were. LOL.
This set turned out adorable. It is available on EBAY if you are interested in bidding on it.
Thanks for stopping in today!

Happy Birthday Card!

Hello everyone!  There's a new sketch challenge going on this week at LSHD. I'd love for you to come over and could win $20 in LSHD files. That is awesome!! Just click HERE to be taken to the challenge and the linky.

Now for the sketch and inspiration from the fabulous design team:
The card I made using the sketch was made for my husband's birthday. When he opened it, he said it was the best card he ever received...just made me grin from ear to ear.
Hope you enjoy it as much as he did!
  Have a great day!!

Happy New Year 2012

Better late than never in wishing all my friends a Happy New Year 2012.
Can you believe it? 2012?
I remember in second grade trying to calculate how old we would be in 2012 and at that time I thought it was a million years away and that I would never get there. Ta da! It's 2012 and I'll be 42 this coming November. LOL
This week on LSHD's design team we were required to make a card using the New Years Bears pattern. I have to say that this set is the BOMB!
I used scraps that I had laying around, that why all the red...I just couldn't break away from Christmas yet...
This little cutie is the center piece in the middle of my kitchen table right now. I'm keeping him for myself. Lol.
Anyone have any resolutions they would like to share?
My goal is to follow my diet more closely and exercise...I think my family and I might join the Y. They have water aerobics that would be beneficial to me and my old osteoarthritis knees.
Have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping in and leave some love if you would like to. I love hearing from you all.
