Hello!
It's been a while since I have posted here. A lot has happened since 2017...my last post.
Let me fill you in:
May, 2017 We adopted our daughter who is now 5! She has been such a joy to us. I have to say that she is spoiled rotten to the core.
I've had several major surgeries. I had an ovary removed that was causing so much pain for almost 4 years and doctors couldn't find out what was wrong. Ended up being a cyst that was hid behind the ovary they took out. Duh!!! I told them something was there!
Forward to to 2018:
I have Ebstein Anomaly and the pressures in my heart were way over what they were supposed to be. I had stress tests done...one of which I almost didn't make it out of and was that a scary feeling. Many tests and many doctors appointments I was referred to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. I live in Ohio.
It was a long drive out there for appointments and meeting the world renown Dr. Dearani, he specializes in the heart birth defect that I have. He is the best in the world.
Back to Ohio.
2019: November, 27, 2019 I went into St. Mary's hospital in Rochester Minnesota and had open heart surgery to repair my heart. While in there he found a small hole and repaired that also. We were there approx>, 10 days from start to finish. It was the worst thing I've ever done in my life. I hurt for months after where the cut my sternum. It has been a wild ride! Thank goodness everything is fixed for now. Might be another 20-30 years before I need anymore surgery on my heart.
Today I am busy making wreaths, raising my daughter, going to church and thanking God everyday for HIS mercies and blessings.
